It sounds really cool! Your playing ist good and the prog feeling is there. For me, the drums are a little too loud specially in the heavy part and the heavy guitars need some push.

Love the intro with the grouls and everything... great combination of drums and guitar-riffs. The production is awesome, like the mixing and mastering. At some points the singing and the grouls could be better, but it's still great.

Yes the singing and growling could be better, as could everything else in the song if we would have had more time (well ok we had the time but we wasted it on stupid things like laughing our asses off at how the growling sounds without music and trying to play the entire song by using a drumstick as a pick)
Even so, since people seem to like our style/sound we might just take the recording process serious in the future instead of sit around and eat potatochips while browsing pr0nz! But then again, maybe not..
Btw your song The Sinner kicks some serious metal ass, kudos!

Well i can hear that u r trying out new technics in recording. Thats good man... that's how one gets better and better. You only need to improve your mastering skills a little more and you'll be awesome! Try to experiment with more guitar tones and new stiles... that help me a lot with my guitar playing and my recording skills. From what i can hear, i think you already know the theory, you only need some practice.
To the song: Nice harmonies and the riffs are also cool! a 5/5 and 10/10 to help you out ;). I also like the strings on the last riff... they conect really good with the guitar riff. You should try new drum samples... the drums were a little too quiet and the bassdrum didn't had that push it normaly has. Try boosting up the low frequencies of the bassdrum a little bit. If you want to try a new drums-plugin i recomend you EZDrummer or Superior Drummer 2.0.

thanks man.. I currently use addictive drums and did a little on the Kick.. boosted around 60hz decreased around 250hx boosted once again at 3k and 8k to give it that click sound... Those arent samples.. theyre created by me.. Im not a drummer by no means so theyre there to keep tempo and add a little bit to the song as well.. but yeah Ive noticed you commented on two of my songs.. if u wanna do a collab then im down.. just shoot me a pm or if u have facebook.. look me up.. my name is Bud Bohanon

For my drums,piano,bass and other misc stuff I use Fruity Loops 5... For my multitrack recording I use Adobe Audition 3.. and my guitar setup is a Fender Squire with PAF Joe satriani Neck pikcup and Evo2 Bridge pickup running through a POD 2.0...
